HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!

SURPRISE!

Not only did we plan this fantastic get away but we also got a little unexpected surprise present!

I hadn't been feeling well at all a few weeks before our actual anniversary on April 28th. I'm plagued with a horrible stomach anyway, but something just wasn't feeling quite right. I decided to keep an eye on it and not play the hypochondriac card just yet and rush to the doctor. The monday before our anniversary Erick had an ear doctor appointment in Omaha and I had to work, I started to feel gross again. Just out of the blue I thought I would take a P-Test just to make sure I wasn't being really crazy before I called the Doctor. Well that sucker came out with 2 lines and I about puked. I didn't know exactly what I was expecting but it certainly wasn't 2 lines! I had to sit down and gather my thoughts. I wasn't sure what to do next. Erick was still in the doctors appointment and I was sitting on the bed with a P Stick in my hand. So I called the Dr to see if they could get me in for an official test. They said to come in right then. That sucker came out positive too. Well I guess we're having a baby!

So I ran over to Target (I still hadn't talked to Erick at this point) and got a little onsie, I wrapped up the P stick, the paper from the Dr and the Onsie and came home. Erick was planning on going straight to school after the dr, but I knew he had my new computer cord from the Apple store and asked him to drop it off before.

I was a nervous wreck. When he got home I gave him the gift and said that I had gotten him an Anniversary present and it came today, and I couldn't wait until Thursday. So he opened it and on top was the paper from the Doctor. He looked at it and had no idea what it was and just looked at me like I had given him a stupid gift. So then I pulled out the stick (i had put it in a zip lock baggie, don't worry) and he took one look at it and said, "really?" and I just shook my head and he started to cry.

I think even now 13 weeks later we aren't really sure what we are doing or how we are going to do this, but it's coming!
