New years eve totally snuck up on me. We were going to have a little party but time got away from me, so we had some people over for some BBQ'd hamburgers and a cookie exchange. We didn't figure we would be able to make it to midnight so we started a little early. Everyone that came was supposed to bring a dozen cookies and at the end of the night as they got ready to leave I gave everyone a little bag to fill with everyones scrumptious offering. The McArthurs and Cannons have little kids so they headed home about 8:30, right about the time that Karen Grover came over. She had to work that night until 8 and didn't know when she could make it.
Ammon was so cute with his little bag of treasures, he was guarding it with his life.
Karen, Erick and I hung out for the rest of the night watching ridiculous motorcycle jumping and Bill and Hilary Clinton's awkward embrace at midnight. We had so much fun. We were so glad everyone could make it and that Karen stayed after everyone went home. Erick and I finally got to bed at about 2:00AM.....and we thought we were too old to make it to Midnight! PSAH!!!
